Northern Flurry Christmas card by Stampin Up and me

Here is another sneakpeek at one of the cards that we will be making at the upcoming Card Buffet on Nov the 4th. I can't wait to see all my dear friends coming together to create and connect to each other. I have to tell you there are some pretty special ladies here in Calgary and some of them haven't even met each other. This will be such a sweet opportunity to meet and work on that stash of cards that can be sometimes so needed :) 

 

This stamp is from the retired Warmest of wishes Hostess Stampin Up stamp set. I love that set and I am glad we will be able to get some good use out of it at the card Buffet.

 

I inked up the image in the Real Red Stampin Up Classic ink. (#126949 - $7.25) That colour never disappoints. It is so rich and so classy combined with the Basic Grey card stock.

 

 

Here you see the Decorative Label Stampin Up punch. It fits so nicely around the image. (#120907 - $22.95. See page 182 of your SU catalogue for more details)

 

For this card I used the Northern Flurry Stampin Up embossing folder. (#120902 - $9.95. See page 189 of your SU catalogue) I rolled it through my Big Shot and out came this beautiful snowflake impression.

 

 

Yesterday our daugther helped me make our Thanksgiving dinner. She was such a sweet help. We had so much fun. getting the turkey ready, the cranberry sauce, the mashed potatoes, the gravy. I tell you, this list went on and on. Our freezer and fridge ares full of yummy left overs that will probable last us until Christmas. At that time we will be ready to create a new batch of Turkey and yams :)

 

 

I love these rhinestone Basic Jewels created by Stampin Up. For $6.50 you will get 150 half-backed adhesive -backed sparkle jewels in 3 different sizes. (#119246 - see page 175 of your catalogue)

 

Well.. If you are living in Canada and you just celebrated Thanksgiving, then you might have just as many left overs in your fridge as we do. And because of that, you will maybe have also some time to craft today :) because left overs don't need to be cooked anymore.. only eaten :)
