One in a million butterfly card by Stampin Up and me

Hi dear Stampers.

Wowsy,  is it Wednesday already?.. I can't believe how those days are slipping through my fingers. Thanks for taking the time in your day to stop by my blog. I so appreciate it.

Today I wanted to create a Clean and Simple card for a dear friend of mine who just celebrated her 50th birthday. She is one amazing woman and I love her dearly and so many of my friends do as well, so I knew what sentiment I had to pick for this card.

Expressing your feelings to someone special can sometimes be difficult, but this ten-piece set gives you lots of inspiration for doing just that. Use it to create handmade cards in advance--so you'll always be ready with the right sentiment when the need arises!

Isn't this a beauty of a stamp set? It is called:

'One in a million' created by Stampin Up (#126382 - $22.95)

Aren't these little butterflies the cutest ever? Nope, I didn't cut them out by myself.. I just rolled the Whisper White card stock through my Big Shot and guess what came out.. These little cuties :)

Give your creativity wings with our Beautiful Wings Embosslits die (#118138 - $14.95). This beautifully-etched die cuts and embosses a Beautiful Wings at the same time.

■ Designed to cut through one sheet of paper or card stock at a time
■ Use with Sizzix Big Shot machine, standard cutting pads, and multipurpose platform
■ Die size: 2-1/4" x 2-1/2"

Can you find the image in the stamp set that I used for my card? Yip, there it is :) It is from one of my favorite Stamp sets created by Stampin Up.

The perfect accent for your next project can start with a simple circle. This set offers circles with all sorts of lively, fresh designs to choose from. Whether you're decorating a tag, creating a card, or adding dimension to a page, you can find a design

The sweet Dynamic Duos ladies with their 37th Challenge inspired me to pick the colours for my card.

The colors of this week are Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. I hope they don't mind I added a little Early Espresso as well from Stampin Up. I wanted to give my card just that little extra 'pop' ... (haha I don't even know if that is good English.. )

The Addicted to CAS #5 Challenge ladies encouraged us to use a heart or some hearts in our cards. Well, that was an easy thing to do for my card.. Hearts and butterflies, what more does a CAS card need :)

Well, that's it for today.
As always, I love to hear from you.
Your comments mean so much to me!
Enjoy this beautiful day.
Inky hugs, Pauline

  8. Oh my, Pauline, you are so creative. I just LOVE that you used Circle Circle (which is SO dusty on my shelf) to make the focal points! Just beautiful! I need to play with this myself!
