Hello Doily and Framelits Labels Collection dies card by Stampin Up and me

Hi Dear Stampers.

For those of you new to my site, Welcome, My name is Pauline Kolochuk and I am a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in the Calgary, Alberta, Canada  area, but I sell these beautiful products to people from all over Canada through my Online SU store.!

Here is one of the cards that I had created for yesterdays workshop. There is lots of Sale-A-Bration going on in there :)

Before I show you a bit on what I did yesterday at my workshop, I would first like to show you were I found my inspiration for my card. I was kinda late with my prepping for this workshop, so I was so glad I found this beautiful layout. It is so easy to work with. I love it! The sweet Jaydee from the Paper Players gave us one beautiful Layout Challenge #134.  I turned their sketch a bit to the left and look what showed up :)

My card :)

Yesterday in the afternoon my dear friend Shelley hosted a Stampin Up workshop with me in her home. I so love this woman's passion and joy for everything paper crafting. She really has a beautiful heart and she is so creative and talented.  I am also so thankful for her, because she was a huge help as well.

Thanks dear Shelley for your generousity in so many ways! & I was so impressed that at the end of the workshop you still had managed to create about 4 beautiful projects!

The great thing is, that she lives in the same neighbourhood as me. She had invited all these sweet ladies that send their children to the same school as me and my hubby do. Now, what a treat it was to be able to spend some crafting time with all these ladies. And you know how it goes when you pick up your kids from school. It is busy, you have places to go after you pick them up and there are just children everywhere running around.. So it was real fun to hang out with all of them and chat and create.

And as you can see, these sweet ladies rocked this workshop. While creating and having fun, they were thinking outside of the box, they came up with new ideas, new colour combinations, I loved it.  I think they all learned some new techniques as well, which is always such a great bonus, right?

Oh, I wish I had taken some more pictures to show you. The room was booming with beauties of cards and gift card holders.. Some woman had already left before I could take a picture of what they had created and some cards I thought I had taken a picture of, but then I didn't.. or the photo that I had taken was all fuzzy.. (sigh) Anyhoo.. I hope these photo's give you a little impression of our afternoon. It was good!

I think that we have used the Big Shot for about every card this afternoon. (smile) We embossed, we were die cutting. We used the Framelits - Labels Collection Dies from Stampin Up. (#125598 - $32.95)

I also love how the Old Olive card stock of Stampin Up. It just never disappoints. It is such a rich colour. And so fun to work with.
