A Happy heart vintage card by Stampin Up and me
Hi dear Stampers.
Wowsy, it is so good to be back on the blog. It was so much fun to stroll through all your beautiful post in the last couple of days. I am not sure how long I have not been able to post a card on my blog. But it was way due for a little update.
I just got back from a trip to Israel and the Netherlands. It was so good o see my family and friends again in Holland. And what a huge treat was it to be in Israel. I loved it out there. What a great city Jerusalem is. The people are SO SO kind, it is clean there and the food was amazing. Of course, I went super nuts with my camera trying to capture the beautify of this land. And me and my dear friends had so much fun. It was really funny how many times we got ourselves into the most hilarious situations.
On another note. I created this card with the Mojo Monday Challenge #294 in mind. I hope you can still recognise the lay out within all I 'camouflaged' it. I do think traveling can bring a new spark in your creativity. I don't think I ever tried a vintage, shabby Chic look on a card. But it just started to happen while I was creating. And I have to say, I love how I didn't feel so stuck with my clean and simple style today. Just perfect in a layered way :)
We found this cute and beautiful building in the middle of Jerusalem. Now it happened to have my favorite paint colour all over the place. So gorgeous. Doesn't it remind you of the colour 'Pool Party' by Stampin Up. Seeing the photo's back this morning sure inspired me to use the colours on my card today.
Oh Jerusalem, you are beautiful in every possible way!
Well, it is that time of day again, where I switch from crafting to prepping the evening meal.
I hope you will find some time in your day to create.
Inky hugs, Pauline

Beautiful card, Pauline - layers, patterns, colours - everything just fits superbly well together! Your trip sounds - and looks - fantastic! I discovered your site while commenting on Kim S's Faith card; had to leave a note for a 'neighbour,' as I live 'just down the road' in Canmore. Looking forward to seeing more of your cards now that you're back home...
