Hi dear Stampers.
Thanks for hopping over to my blog again. Welcome! I love to have you visit. It is Monday, so it's time for another Mojo Monday Challenge #225 to kick start my week. I love how they said that on their website. So, here I am Kick starting my week with this super cute card. I think that I love everything about this card. the colours, the design (Thanks Mojo Ladies!!) and then that snail image... so cute! Do you see how this little snail is slowly making it's way through my card. Each picture is showing .. well .. how slow he is.. (smile) So fitting with the sentiment right, of this card.
I heat embossed the middle part of my card. I added some white SU embossing powder to the Craft Stampin Up white ink and then heated it up with my heating gun. Easy peasy and it really helps to pop up the image on the Basic Grey card stock.
At the Friday Mashup Challenge #42 site they encouraged us to use some Paper Piercing in our projects. I love paper piercing. If you haven't tried it yet.. Please do, it adds so much goodness to a card.. (hahaha... I can't believe I just wrote that) But it is so true.. Instead of colouring an image you can stamp the same image twice. One of them will be the main image and the other image you will stamp on some DSP or card stock. Then you will choose which part you want to highlight of the image and you cut that part out and stick it on the same spot of your main image. (If this makes sense to you.. you are my hero... because I have some trouble here to explain this to you in words..) And again that's why I love taking photo's :) I do hope that I took good enough pictures of it, so you can see what a great technique it is.
Well, I had a slow day today. I did some laundry, dishes, floors, tidied up some rooms, cleaned the bathroom. Made lunches and snacks and now dinner is on the list. A typical Monday as I see it. I love that I had some time to create in the middle of it.
I hope you enjoyed my post today.
Before I forget. I found some fun Blog candy on pennyspapercraft.blog. She just started her blog and is really great at what she is doing. She has got some awesome idea's. Please hop over to her blog for some great Candy and for some beautiful projects.
Inky hugs, Pauline
