Trevor Morgan on his guitar. I loved the song 'Psalm 23' that he sang for us.. and I am sure also for God. I have to tell you, that his voice goes through many layers of my thoughts and emotions.
Reuben loved all the music instruments and the sound of this band. What a privileged to be able to bring my son to concerts like this. I hope it encourages him to play the guitar, the drum and the piano with even more passion.
Love this shot!
Hi dear you. Happy Wednesday to you! I hope you had a good beginning of your week. I can't believe that it is already the first day of February. What happened to January? We have been so busy with I don't know what.., but it was a good busy.. I think. :)
The other day / evening I went with my son to the Third Day / Trevor Morgan concert here in Calgary. I am not sure if you are familiar with their music, but they 'rock'! I think it was 1996 that I saw Third Day for the first time in the Netherlands during a concert. I loved their music and their passion and love for Jesus. You know, they actually recorded the concert that I went to last Wednesday with Reuben and you can now listen to it on their home page. Click here if you would like to listen to this concert. Now how fun is that? 86 minutes of great music.. just like that! We ended up sitting real close to the stage (I know :) :) so I was able to take some fun photo's of the band. I hope you enjoy them. Mac Powell, the lead singer is really one talented, fun and sweet man with a great voice and heart.
Last Thursday I had some time to connect with my dear friend from Maui and her sweet hubby. After dinner, some tea, some guitar playing and some relaxing, I showed her my craft room and all my Stampin Up goodies. I still feel blessed that I live in Canada and that I have access to all these beautiful Stampin up products. I know that many of you who live in Europe, would love to be able to buy these products as well.. If I could convince Stampin Up to sell there too I would, but it seems that that is not in the books.
Well.. we couldn't just look at all the prettyness :) so we decided to create a card. She wanted to try out the Owl Punch from Stampin Up. I know, isn't he the cutest thing ever? We had such a good time. And here is what we came up with. A simple and sweet thank you card.
Well. that's it for today. Bless your heart and mind and be kind to each other (like Ellen would say :)
Inky hugs, Pauline
