Henry says.. birthday card by Stampin Up and me

Hi dear Stampers.

I hope you are having a beautiful Sunday.

I had some time to create a card this afternoon. I love those slow moments where everything seems to go well in this home. The kids were content doing their own little thing, my hubby was taking a nap.. the dishes were done.. and voila.. I could crawl into my little craft space.

I hopped over to the Clean and simple Sketch of the Paper Players #129.  I turned their sketch on it's side and came up with my design. I really love how it turned out. But you should see the Paper Players creations. So many beautiful ones. I loved hopping over to their blogs, to have a closer look.

Right away I thought of the image of one of my new Stampin Up stamp sets.  'Henry says'. (#128093 - $26.95)

This set has 13 of the cutest little images that go so well with the main elephant image.

This elephant will never forget any of your birthdays or special occasions. like Christmas! The Stamps include banners and ornaments, which you can hang from his trunk. There are 3 different hats to suit any occasion.

Please click Here to order your own 'Henry says' stamp set.

I also wanted to ad my card to the Friday Mashup Challenge #93 of this week. I red that one of the hostesses on this blog, named 'Holly' is having her birthday this week. Happy Birthday to you dear Holly. I hope you will have a beautiful new year ahead of you.
The theme of their week is 'Birthdays'. Well this card will fit right in, with all the others. What a great bunch of cards do they have on display. I loved each one of them.

Here you see my little container of the neutral colored Flower Brads that Stampin Up released a while ago. They are actually now for sale in their Clearance Rack for only $4.59. (with the item number #119730)

I also would like to ad my card to the Keep it simple Blog Challenge #5. This Blog is created in Germany, Deutschland. I am so happy I found this blog. It really has some beautiful challenges. You should check it out. They encouraged us to use frames on our cards. Well, you know me, I love framing my images. It gives any card such a clean look. And I am all about that!

Well. I should make some tea for everyone.
Tea and honey..
and a chocolate cookie :)

I hope you will find some time today to create.
Inky hugs, Pauline
